The Botanical Art Society of the National Capital Region (BASNCR) is a
non-profit group dedicated to promoting public interest in botanical art.
Our objective is to encourage members to pursue excellence in botanical art
by providing activities that promote creativity, technical skill and
botanical knowledge. We hope to foster through this art a desire in our
members and in the community at large to seek greater awareness of our
region's indigenous flora and to encourage the preservation of plant
species.
